Illustrating a Children’s Book Manuscript (online)

Learn skills such as character design, 故事板, developing concepts, 测序, 讲故事, pacing the visual story, 和 creating a complete dummy book. Learn about the publishing industry 和 how to enter this competitive field 和 navigate the business practices of working as a children's book illustrator. This class includes weekly homework assignments. / Students will have access to Adobe Creative Cloud software throughout the class. / No class on 小君e 10.

Open to students ages 18 和 above. Review complete policies, including class cancellation policies, before completing your registration.

Class meeting details

This online course is synchronous, meaning students will meet together online. Class meetings are conducted via Google Meet 和 include lectures, 示威活动, 讨论, 练习, 批评, 和 time to ask questions 和 share resources.

先决条件

Introduction to Children’s Book 插图 or equivalent experience. Previous drawing 和 painting experience is helpful, but not required.
